Since 2008, Avant has acquired, entitled, designed, and developed a diversified portfolio of luxury single-family residences, multifamily residential, and condominiums totaling over 187,000 gross square feet built and owned, plus a further 249,000 square feet entitled. Project Team
Principal
Welly Yang is a real estate developer and designer specializing in the development, redevelopment, and repositioning of luxury single-family, multi-residential, condominium, and commercial real estate. He is the Principal of the affiliated companies Avant Design Build, Avant Development, and Avant Dwellings — a vertically integrated development and management platform focused on urban infill locations in high-density markets, primarily Los Angeles.
Mr. Yang is actively involved in every phase: acquisition, financing, entitlement, design, A&E, construction, project management, tenant improvement, asset management, and disposition. He is also a former Board Director of Amerasia Bank (New York & Florida), called “America's Best Bank” by The Economist. He holds a BA with honors from Columbia University.
